New York Water Week | Let’s make waves for water
New York Water Week | Let's make waves for water

The New York Water Week, together with the UN 2023 Water Conference, creates a momentum for worldwide water action, as well as gives stakeholders the opportunity to showcase innovations, best practices and more to understand, value and manage water better.

While the world faces many challenges, there is also a need to frame these risks and pressures in positive ways. Every day, new technologies and applications are developed. New partnerships are continuously established to help address humanity’s need and right to clean, accessible, and sufficient water.

The New York Water Week (18-24 March) will showcase game-changing water actions and solutions from across the world and broaden the scope and impact of the United Nations 2023 Water Conference (22 – 24 March).

Focus areas

  • Water Innovation & Businesses
We need innovators, creators, visionaries. We need the private sector to showcase their best practices! From start-ups to multinationals and everything in between, within the water sector and outside.
  • Youth & Education
Education teaches us to think critically, to become curious, to understand the magnitude of the challenges we are facing and the complexity of solutions available. Young people are creative, open-minded, and learning to lead on these challenges in the coming years.
  • Resilient Cities
And it is in cities where people come together, where the impacts of extreme weather events can be felt enormously, being it a lack of safe drinking water, flood or anything in between. It is cities where great challenges combined with innovative ideas can come together in a melting pot of concrete actions and ideas that are scalable.
